Back in August I had the pleasure of photographing Gemma and Steve's wedding. They planned their wedding local to where we grew up, (Gemma and I went to primary school together and then comprehensive school - which is where Gemma and Steve met).
They had planned their day for a beautiful outdoor setting, (perfect at Mathern Palace) but the weather had other ideas, it was just far too windy. So the amazing owners and wedding planners of Mathern Palace, Helen and Phillip quickly turned things around, bringing everything inside and all was ok. More than ok! As you can see from the photographs, it was such a lovely setting. Gemma and Steve married in front of a decorated fireplace - lush!
We were able to get many photographs outside after the wedding ceremony. The gardens of Mathern Palace were the perfect setting for the bride and groom to have their newlywed wedding photographs taken.
The gardens weren't just perfect for the photographs, Gemma is lucky enough to be the sister of one of the creators/owners of HERF Yurts. They had 3 of the Yurts at Mathern Palace for their wedding, the main reception area, a chill out area and a bar! HERF Yurts did an amazing job, they were decorated so tastefully, light and stood the winds too.
Gemma and Steve had a wonderful day and I am so pleased that they chose me (Megan-Sian Photography) to photograph their wedding day.
Congratulations again to both of you!
