What an incredible location! I've longed to photograph a wedding in Cornwall, especially at Polhawn Fort, for years. The fort, the surroundings, the scenery—it's simply awe-inspiring! So when Sophie and Tom reached out to me to document their wedding and invited me to Torpoint, Cornwall, I couldn't possibly refuse!
A few years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Sophie and Tom while photographing Sophie's sister's wedding. It was an honor to reunite with the family to capture more cherished memories for them. Everyone was relaxed around me as we'd met before and it was just lush to see them all again!
Sophie and Tom opted for my Ultimate Wedding Package, and by heading to Cornwall the day before their wedding, we had the opportunity to meet them at the venue, explore some picturesque locations, and capture some "night before the wedding" photos of them and their family enjoying the water, eating, drinking, and having a great time.
This package featured both Jazmine, the second photographer, and me to capture their special moments. Jazmine photographed Tom and the groomsmen as they got ready in the morning, while I was in the bridal suite/end of the fort. We then joined forces to document the ceremony and the remainder of the day, capturing various perspectives and events as they unfolded.
I truly appreciated the beauty and atmosphere this venue offers. It's more than just a venue; it's a special corner of the world. I would never pass up the chance to photograph a wedding in Cornwall!
